In accordance with section 7.05(c) of the 2010–2015 Rules and Procedures of the Council of Experts, this is to provide notice that USP and its Expert Committees, as applicable, intend to revise multiple monographs and General Chapters in response to revisions of General Chapters prior to the development of the current process for updating reference changes for General Chapters.
This is a continuation of the General Chapter reference clean up that was initiated in USP 39–NF 34. In order to identify the list of General Chapters for clean-up, a 10-year retrospective review was conducted for a full list of all revised General Chapters that were considered. In some instances the General Chapter underwent a title change, or the General Chapter was deleted entirely. References to the revised General Chapters will be updated when the monographs and General Chapters appear in USP 40–NF 35.
A list of the monographs and General Chapters that will be modified can be found here. The list is broken out by each revised General Chapter on a separate spreadsheet. Each spreadsheet then lists the monographs and General Chapters with affected references.
All modifications will become official on May 1, 2017 with USP 40–NF 35.
